Hello, I'm

Gaëtan Huszovits

I have 20 years old and I am a full-stack developer with NextJS, and TypeScript.

My projects and my journey

My journey into development began with a passion for creating my own Minecraft server back in 2016 using PHP with PocketMine-MP on mobile.

It wasn't until 2017, when I got my first computer, that I started doing more serious work—still within the Minecraft world. I created and sold numerous plugins (around a hundred in total, ranging from 4 to 60 euros each depending on complexity, time, ect), which taught me how to listen to clients and target their needs.

In 2020, I shifted my focus entirely to web development, starting with SvelteKit by building linkfy.fr and my old portfolio. Later, I transitioned to Next.js and discovered Supabase, both of which have become my favorites, and I use them whenever I can.

I love discovering new technologies, especially within the TypeScript ecosystem, and I'm always participating in new hackathons organized by Supabase 🚀.

• Imagine.place is an AI-powered storytelling platform where users can create or explore narrative adventures that evolve based on their choices.

• I developed this app using the latest stack: Next.js 15 with React 19, App Router, Server Actions and shadcn/ui components for the UI system.

• Stories are generated in real-time thanks to OpenAI (GPT & DALL·E) and Supabase Edge Functions, allowing the player to interact with text and visuals.

• The platform supports French and English, offers visual themes, dice rolling mechanics, and tracks user progression.

• Tweeets is a tweet generator powered by OpenAI, it allows users to generate tweets using the GPT-3 or GPT-4 model.

• It was a project I made for the 2023 Supabase Hackathon, thanks to this project I was able to learn how to use OpenAI and integrate AI models into my projects.

• This project was awarded the first place in the Best use of AI section of the hackathon 🎉
